Everyone belongs at the Y.
The YMCA of Greater Nashua is committed to making our programs welcoming for people of all abilities. We offer adaptive swim lessons for ages 3 and up, adaptive wellness classes, and a team that will work with you to find the right fit in sports, fitness, arts and more.
Our adaptive swim instructors are trained in Swim Whisperers through Swim Angelfish, using specialized approaches for swimmers with sensory, motor, developmental or other needs, including swimmers with autism. Lessons are available for swimmers ages 3 and older.
To get started, complete the adaptive swim intake form. Our aquatics team will learn about your swimmer and match them with the right instructor.
Healthy Living Classes include adaptive options such as adaptive yoga and programs for people living with Parkinson's, cancer and other conditions. Each program has its own participation details.
Interested in another program? Contact the program team. Share the participant's interests, goals and any questions, and we'll explain the setting, available supports and enrollment steps. Talking with us before you register helps make sure the experience is a great fit.
