Train hard. Cheer louder. Swim together.
STORM is the YMCA of Greater Nashua's year-round competitive swim team. Our swimmers compete in YMCA and USA Swimming meets, training with experienced coaches who care as much about the person as the race.
On STORM, swimmers learn to set goals, show up for practice, take feedback and cheer for the teammate in the next lane. Those habits build stronger strokes and stronger kids. It's youth development the Y way: caring, honest, respectful and responsible, in and out of the pool.
Visit the official STORM website for training groups, the season calendar, meet information and joining instructions. Take a look at the practice commitment for swimmers and families so you can choose the group that fits your schedule.
Reach out to the coaching staff and share your swimmer's experience, goals and current skills. They'll help you find the right starting point. Still building the basics? Our Swim Lessons are a great way to get team-ready.
