Y Academy toddler care at the Merrimack YMCA gives busy toddlers a safe, joyful place to explore, play and learn, with two classrooms (Toddler One and Toddler Two) so children can grow at their own pace.
Learning by Doing
Simple choices, stories, songs and hands-on activities help toddlers build language and curiosity. Our day balances active exploration with predictable routines, so children feel confident about what comes next.
Growing Independence Together
From washing hands to joining circle time, everyday moments give toddlers chances to try things for themselves. Teachers guide them in sharing space, taking turns and making friends. Every child's progress looks different, and you're part of the conversation.
Finding the Right Classroom
We'll talk with you about your child's age, development and available space to find the best fit. A tour is a great time to ask about transitions, toilet learning and a typical day.
