Leaders in Training at Camp Sargent

From camper to leader.

Leaders in Training (LIT) is Camp Sargent's leadership program for teens in grades 9–12. LITs work alongside camp staff, help younger campers and learn what it takes to lead a group, all on the shores of Lake Naticook.

LITs help run activities and support younger campers, practicing real leadership every day. They also reflect on their role in a community and how their choices affect others.

Looking Ahead

LIT is a great first step for teens who might want to become camp counselors one day. (Staff positions have a separate hiring process.)

Before You Register

Check the LIT listing for session dates, expectations, fees and enrollment steps. The Camp Sargent team is happy to talk with you about the daily experience and your teen's goals.
